Do Xbox Live Arcade games require Internet connection to play?

I currently have an Xbox live subscription (Gold) and would like to purchase an Xbox Live Arcade title (Chessmaster). I have two questions regarding this purchase.

1. Would I have to be connected to the Internet and therefore Xbox Live to play the game if I am playing against someone sitting next to me.

2. If I decide not to renew my Gold membership in a year, would I lose access to the game, even though I purchased it?

1) You don't have to connect to Xbox Live to play the game unless you download the game again on another 360 with the same account.
2) If you don't renew you Gold membership, you will still be able to play the game. You could, in fact, buy more XBLA titles if you wanted. Xbox Live Marketplace only requires a Silver membership (which is free) to purchase and download content.

Question about two Wii games: Blazing Angels and Call of Duty World At War?

First, in Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII, I cant beat the desert reconassince mission. Can someone give me some hints on where to find the German bases or a cheat to pass the level. I have looked everywhere and cannot find the bases. I find something that looks like a base, but the camera thing doesnt come up.

Next, on Call of Duty World at War, is there a zombie level on the Wii version if you beat the game? I know the Xbox 360 version has it and I was wondering b/c I might buy it if it does...

Well, for the first part, I have passed it and I know. First, you leave the desert and go to a parallel universe where you are the German, thus able to find the base. The problem is, you can't go back once you're in the parallel universe, so you have to kill all of your Nazi buddies, and take it over. After taking over the base, you should go to a level where you have to play BINGO with a bunch of Canadians who say "Eh" after everything. So, when you hear it, it sounds like "beh" and "ieh" and "neh" and "geh" (that sounds like gay) and "oeh". If you get through that, you will get to the next level, where you must teach disco to medieval zombies. That's about it.

Ok, so one good game is far cry 2. Its set in an african type are. The map is HUGE! Its got tons of weapons and upgrades, cars to drive and good graphics. Me and my friend play it a lot. I recommend it greatly!

Konami, within the Pro Evolution Soccer series, has a video game of association football by the name of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008. Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 has been released for Wii, Windows, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable, as well as PlayStation 2, and the Xbox 360. There is a demo of the PS3 version available for convenient downloading right from within the PlayStation Store; there has been a demo for the Xbox 360 that has been released within the Xbox Live Marketplace and a demo for the PC that has also been released.

What's the Value of a xbox 360 elite, 120GB HDD, all cords, a controller + mic, all manuals and packaging including box. Since it still has warranty, you can easily ask $400 for it. That is on eBay at least. The console alone would go for maybe $190, and about $100 more for the games (btw, is it Halo 3 or Halo 3: ODST?) ODST Is worth more.

my warranty just finished just under 4 months ago and now my xbox elite does not display video only sound, to fix it it will be $99 from microsoft. how would i dispute the warranty so that i dont have to pay?
